Aim

This project aims to explore a variety of factors that may enable us to predict empathy towards various targets (other fellow humans in general, children, animals) and to determine the relationship
between empathy towards those different targets. The outcomes are critical to the planning of projects aimed at bolstering empathy.

CONSENT FOR PARTICIPATION

The survey has been designed to gather information on factors that may relate to empathy towards humans and animals, and it will take approximately 10 min to fill.

Data is registered anonymously and will only be used for the purpose of the aforementioned research.

INSTRUMENTS

This project resorts to instruments designed to measure empathy, including questionnaires developed for human and animal empathy and their validated versions in English and Portuguese
(from Portugal).
